This signing combined with the acquisition of Eugenio Suarez and Jesse Winker makes them a powerhouse to compete with Houston in the division since the A’s are having an everything must go sale, the Angels have not done much of anything, and the Rangers have questions marks regarding how good they’ll be. Suarez and Winker will add more muscle to the Mariner lineup. Suarez will replace Kyle Seager at the hot corner and Winker will most likely rotate between the outfield and designated hitter.
